God gets the Glory.

My posts have been few and far between, but that tends to happen when your life is a whirlwind. I should probably document all of these adventures more often, but one ends, the next one picks up, and I tend to forget about my blog.

Things are going really well- I love my students, love my church- it's a great fit. I've been going back and forth about documenting the healing I've experienced from being on staff here after being torn apart last year, but I'm not sure how productive it would be. Ultimately, God gets the glory in all of this- my calling was rescued, redeemed, and restored through this transition, and I'm able to serve with a new perspective on leadership.

Personally, things are also going well. I don't get tired of being able to be in Philadelphia in 45 minutes, Baltimore in an hour and a half, or NYC/DC in 2 hours. I've yet to venture north, mostly because south splits the distance between Cade and I. I also don't get tired of the view from my apartment, my drive to work, and the view out my office window [I have 2 now! haha]. I love the hills, the trees- there's always some bit of creation that makes me stop in wonder.

The moral of the story- of the last, what? 6 months?- is that God never stops. God's always in the mix, whether we can sense it or not. At one point this summer, Jean urged me to keep the faith, and I flat out told her it felt impossible. That's where I was... now look at where I am. God truly has a funny way of going about His business when we open ourselves up to that plan.

Love God, love others, and love yourself. After all, He does :)
